The University of Utah will host the 2003 Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Championship November 5, 6 and 8 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. This will mark the first time in conference history that the event will be held at the stadium. Rice-Eccles opened for Ute football games in 1998 and for the world in 2002, when the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games were televised 'round the World from it.
The winner of the Mountain West Conference Tournament receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
